Bareksa.com - Real-estate developer Summarecon Agung posted 20 percent growth in marketing sales for the first half of the year despite weaker sentiment in the property market.
Reported from Jakarta Globe, marketing sales — sales of properties still under construction — at the company based in Serpong, Banten, reached Rp 2.4 trillion ($207 million) in the period from January to June.
During the first three months this year, Summarecon saw a 32 percent decline in marketing sales to Rp 650 billion, compared to the same period last year.
A rebound in Summarecon’s marketing sales, according to the company’s president director Johanes Mardjuki, was mainly supported by its Summarecon Serpong township in Serpong.
