Emtek’s net income fell 49 percent to Rp 110.6 billion in the first three months this year.

Jakarta Globe - Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek), an Indonesian media company, has signed an investment agreement worth $50 million with Standard Chartered Private Equity (SCPE), a Hong Kong-based investment company, to fund Emtek’s healthcare business.

Emtek is expanding its business into the country’s healthcare sector through its subsidiary, Elang Medika Corpora (EMC), which has interest in Rumah Sakit Usada Insani, a hospital in Tangerang, Banten province.
