Emerging-market stocks rose toward a four-month high as U.S futures signaled a rebound

Bloomberg - Emerging-market stocks rose toward a four-month high as U.S. futures signaled a rebound after the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index erased this year’s advance. The yen gained versus the dollar while gold led precious metals higher amid escalating tensions in Ukraine.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index increased 0.6 percent by 8:29 a.m. in London, as information-technology companies rose after three days of losses. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index fluctuated. Futures on the S&P 500 climbed 0.1 percent while Nasdaq 100 Index contracts advanced after that gauge’s biggest three-day loss since 2011.
