Bareksa.com - Indonesia is still one of the world’s top investment destinations. The Economist reported that in 2015 Indonesia is the number two investment destination in the Asia Pacific region after China. During a special interview at his office in Jakarta recently BKPM Head Franky Sibarani described how Indonesia is still a magnet for the world’s investors.
Japan places Indonesia as its number four investment destination. Even China ranks Indonesia at number two after the US. "Investment is growing," said Franky.
A number of investment commitments are already in construction and will be finalized next year. "I am also responsible for unemployment in Indonesia, so we are highly oriented towards industries with large workforces," said Franky.
