Two inflation readings for China add more pieces to the economic puzzle

Reuters - This Friday in Asia is a busy one, indeed. First to China where the growth trajectory for Q2 is now the focus here. On the inflation front, we've got rising food costs remain a key driver, but also on the other hand cooling property prices keeping a lid on CPI. Now, a Reuters poll of analysts predicts annual consumer inflation will drop slightly to 2% in April, that's as seasonal pressures from the Lunar New Year fade away.
